Leemdeers are nocturnal, which means they are not only awake at night, but those big, piercing eyes can see into the dark… and your soul.

Leemdeers are found in the wilds of Madagascar or the northern tundra. Their fur is hollow (like their head), which keeps them warm during the chillier nights.

Any and all genders of Leemdeer have horns, which are used for fighting and foraging. More importantly, the horns signify social standing - the bigger a Leemeer’s audacity, the bigger their horns.

Their favorite snacks are fruits & veggies (carrot sticks in particular), lichen, and unmade promises. If a leemdeer leaves a lump of coal by your feet, it’s recommended you bribe them with one of the aforementioned treats or walk away ... very slowly.

There are over 100 species of lemurs, so who’s to say this Mashable isn’t actually a real eldritch horror hiding in the wilds of Madagascar?
